Create your company account

You will get your own web address and can add your team once you are in.

You start on a 30-day free trial of Growth, no card needed and choose a plan when you are ready. See what the plans add, or ask us a question first.

The name of your business, as your customers will see it on your invoices, quotes and emails.
Type a short word for your business, such as acme, and your own Sales Base address will be acme.salesbase.co.uk. You and your team sign in there, and your customers use it for their online portal and the links to your quotes. Use letters, numbers and hyphens only, with no spaces (3 to 63 characters, and not starting or ending with a hyphen). Pick one you are happy with, because you cannot change it yourself afterwards.

Your address will be acme.salesbase.co.uk

Pick the one closest to your business. It decides the words Sales Base uses (for example customer or client, job or appointment) and the starter services and checklists we suggest. Nothing else changes, and you can switch it later in Settings.

Used for your calendar, appointment times and reminders, so that a 9am job shows as 9am for you and your team. Most UK businesses keep Europe/London.
Tick this if your business is registered for VAT. VAT is then added to your invoices and quotes. Leave it unticked if you are not registered; you can change it later in Settings.
Your VAT registration number, shown on your invoices. UK numbers are GB followed by nine digits. Leave this blank if you are not VAT registered.

VAT is added to your invoices at 20%. You can change this later in Settings.

Your own name. You will be the owner of this account, and your name shows against the things you do.
The email address you will sign in with. We send account messages here, such as a password reset. Please enter a full address, like you@example.com.
Choose a password you do not use anywhere else, at least 8 characters long. You will use it with your email address to sign in.
Type the same password again, so a typing mistake does not lock you out.
