Sales Base is for non-regulated home help only: companionship, shopping and errands, light housework, preparing meals, sitting with someone and going with them to an appointment. We cannot hold personal care data. Do not use it to record personal care, such as washing, dressing, toileting or medication, or health or care records about a person, such as conditions, diagnoses, care plans or medication. If you provide personal care you may have to register with a care regulator, and you should use a system built for care records. Check what applies to you before you offer a service.
Regular visits with the same helper
A regular visit is a booking that makes the visits for you, weekly or as often as you agree. Each client can have a preferred home helper, who is ticked for you on a new visit and ranked first when someone has to cover, and you are warned if another helper is put on.
Helpers clock in and out at the home, with a location check, so you can see that a visit happened and for how long. Clients can be reminded of a visit by email, or by text on Growth and above.

Home help that is not regulated care
Sales Base is a business tool for home help such as companionship, shopping and errands, light housework, preparing a meal, sitting with someone and going with them to an appointment. The starter price list has each of these, with a short checklist, as examples to change.
It is not a care system. It is not for personal care, such as help with washing, dressing, toileting or medication, or for anyone who has to register with a care regulator, and it is not the place for health or care records about a person. Check what applies to you before you offer a service.
Record your helpers’ enhanced DBS checks, right to work checks, first aid and safeguarding training, with a reminder before they run out, and leave and cover are handled for you.

Quote, invoice and get paid
Send a numbered quote as a PDF that the customer can accept online, then an invoice with VAT from your own email address. On Growth and above customers can pay by card, PayPal or Direct Debit from the invoice, and payment reminders chase the late ones.
