The CRM for handymen and decorators

Odd jobs, repairs, painting and wallpapering: quote the work, put it on the calendar for the right person, keep the paint and materials in the purchase ledger so you can see what each job really made, and invoice the same day.

Quote it, book it, do it, and see what it made

Enquiries go on a pipeline board. Build a quote with lines and prices, send it as a PDF and the customer can accept it online, then one click creates the customer, the property and the job. Your tradespeople see the job, the access notes and the checklist on their phone, and take before and after photographs.

Record the paint, fixings and materials you buy, with a photo of the receipt, and tie them to the job. Sales Base shows what each job cost and what it made, and what a person’s time was worth.

  • Quotes customers accept online
  • Materials and paint tied to the job
  • Job profit, by customer and by person
  • Before and after photos on every job

A price list for odd jobs and decorating, and the safety sheets for your paints

The starter price list has an hourly rate and a half day, flat-pack assembly, shelves and curtain poles, sealant and tile repairs, painting a room, wallpapering a room and exterior painting, each with a checklist. Keep the safety data sheet for each paint, solvent and sealant as a PDF with its hazards and first aid, and see which are out of date. Record your people’s qualifications and insurance with a reminder before they run out, and the risk assessments and method statements for repairs and for decorating, which they see on the visit.

The starter risk assessments and checklists are examples to read and edit. Sales Base keeps your records and reminders, it does not decide how you work safely.

  • Starter services with checklists
  • A register of safety data sheets with PDFs
  • Certificates and insurance with expiry reminders
  • Risk assessments your people see on the visit

Quote, invoice and get paid

Send a numbered quote as a PDF that the customer can accept online, then an invoice with VAT from your own email address. On Growth and above customers can pay by card, PayPal or Direct Debit from the invoice, and payment reminders chase the late ones.
