Affiliate terms
Last updated 14 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between Cyber Investments Ltd t/a Sales Base (“we”, “us”) and the business that joins our affiliate scheme (“you”). They are in addition to our terms of service and privacy policy. By applying, you agree to them.
1. Joining
- You apply from your Sales Base account, and you need an account to do so. We read every application and may accept or refuse it without giving a reason.
- You are an independent business. You are not our employee, agent or partner, and you have no authority to make promises or sign anything for us.
- You must give accurate details and keep them up to date.
2. Your link and how a sign-up is credited
- Once you are approved you get a personal link. Adding
?ref=and your code to the address of any page on our website works the same way. - A new account is credited to you if the person signs up through your link. If they came through more than one affiliate’s link, the first one keeps the credit.
- Our website remembers an affiliate for 60 days, but only if the visitor has accepted optional cookies. We cannot promise that every sign-up you send will be tracked (people block cookies, change device or sign up later by another route), and we are not liable for a sign-up we could not credit to you.
- An account is not credited to you if it belongs to you, to a business you own, run or are employed by, or to someone you live with, or if we have good reason to think it was created only to earn commission.
3. Commission
- You earn 20% of what each company you refer pays for its first 6 months, before VAT. “Before VAT” means we do not pay commission on the VAT.
- We pay commission only on money we have actually received from the account you referred. Nothing is earned during a free trial, and nothing on a payment that is refunded, disputed or charged back (or on the part that is).
- Each commission is held for 30 days after the payment it comes from. After that it is approved, and you can see it in your Sales Base account.
- We may change the commission for accounts that sign up in future. An account keeps the terms it signed up under. We will update this page and its date when we do.
4. Payment
- We pay approved commission by bank transfer or PayPal, by hand, to the details you gave us, once the total reaches £25.00. We will usually pay within a month of reaching it.
- You are responsible for any tax on what you earn. Commission is a figure before VAT. If you are VAT registered, say so with your VAT number in your affiliate details and we will add VAT to each payment, against a VAT invoice from you for the commission. If you are not VAT registered, we pay the commission as it is.
- If we pay commission on a payment that is later refunded, disputed or charged back, or that was paid by mistake, we may take it off your next payment or ask you to pay it back.
- We may hold back commission we reasonably think was earned unfairly or by breaking these terms, while we look into it.
5. How you may promote Sales Base
You must keep to the law, including the CAP Code and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations (as updated by the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024), the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and data protection law. In particular:
- Be honest. Say only what is true about Sales Base: what it does, what it costs and what a free trial includes. Do not make up reviews or testimonials, promise results or earnings (“you will save…”, “you will make…”), compare us with a named competitor unfairly, or hide that something costs money.
- Say you earn commission. Make it clear, before someone clicks, that your link is an affiliate link and that you are paid if they sign up (for example “ad” or “I earn commission if you sign up”). Do not hide it in small print or a footer.
- Do not impersonate us. Do not say or suggest that you are Sales Base, that you work for us or that we have endorsed you. Do not copy our website or make one that looks like it. Use our name and logo only as we supply them.
- No spam. Do not send emails, texts or messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you, and do not post your link where it is not wanted, such as comment sections, forums that forbid it or messaging groups.
- No cookie tricks. Do not set our cookie yourself, hide or force clicks (for example with hidden frames, pop-ups or automatic redirects), or use your own sign-ups to earn commission.
- No paid search on our name. Do not bid on “Sales Base” or close variations as a search keyword or put them in advertising text.
- No bad places. Do not use your link on sites that are illegal, misleading, adult, hateful or that infringe anyone’s rights.
- Do not offer a discount, gift or other reward for signing up unless you say so clearly and are the one paying for it.
If we ask you to change or take down something you have published, please do so promptly.
6. Personal data
- How we use your name and payout details is in our privacy policy. Please give us only details you are entitled to give.
- We do not tell you who signed up through your link, only how many and what you earned. You must not ask people for their Sales Base details, and anything you collect from people yourself is your responsibility as an independent controller.
7. Ending
- You can stop at any time by telling us. We can end or pause your place in the scheme at any time, or end the scheme itself, and we will tell you. Your link then stops crediting new sign-ups.
- Commission already earned and approved is still paid, unless you broke these terms or it was earned unfairly, in which case we may cancel it.
8. Liability
We do not promise that the scheme will run without a break or that you will earn anything. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable to you for lost earnings, profit or business, and our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the commission we owe you.
9. Changes and law
We may change these terms by updating this page, and the changes apply to commission earned from then on. If you do not agree, you can stop being an affiliate. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can decide any dispute.
