The CRM for garage door installers and repairers

Repairs, springs and openers, yearly services and new doors: quote the job, put it on the calendar for the right fitters, photograph the finished work and keep every certificate with a reminder before it runs out.

From a broken spring to a new door, quoted and scheduled

Enquiries go on a pipeline board. Fitters photograph the door and the opening on the survey, and you build a quote with a line for the door, the opener and the fitting, send it as a PDF and the customer can accept it online. One click creates the customer, the property and the job, and the fitters see the access notes for the garage, the side gate and the key.

Photographs before and after go on the visit. A yearly service can repeat on its own, so your regular customers come back without a phone call.

  • Quotes customers accept online
  • Before and after photos on every job
  • Access notes: garages, gates, keys
  • Yearly services that repeat

A price list for doors and repairs, and certificates that expire

The starter price list has an inspection and report, a service, spring or cable replacement, remote control or motor repair, roller door repair, up and over and sectional doors supplied and fitted, and an electric opener fitted, each with a checklist. Keep each fitter’s training, manual handling, working at height and CSCS certificates with an expiry reminder, your insurance certificates, and the risk assessment for garage door work, which the fitters see on the visit.

The starter risk assessment and the checklists are examples to read and edit. Sales Base keeps your records and reminders, it does not decide how you work or replace the rules that apply to your work, such as those for automatic doors and their electrical supply.

  • Starter services with checklists
  • Certificates with expiry reminders
  • Insurance certificates in one place
  • A risk assessment the fitters see on the visit

Quote, invoice and get paid

Send a numbered quote as a PDF that the customer can accept online, then an invoice with VAT from your own email address. On Growth and above customers can pay by card, PayPal or Direct Debit from the invoice, and payment reminders chase the late ones.

Calculators and converters for the job

The Tools section of the signed-in area has calculators made for this trade, as well as a unit converter, a way to price a job from your time, mark-up and margin, VAT and the fuel cost of a journey. They are worked out on the screen as you type, so nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
