The CRM for electricians

Keep each customer’s installations and when they are next due for inspection, note what you found on the job, and remind customers before the date.

Installations and the inspections they need

Record the installations you look after: a whole property, a consumer unit, portable appliance testing, fire alarms, emergency lighting, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms or an electric vehicle charger. Each has the usual gap between inspections built in, five years for an electrical safety report and a year for the rest, which you can change.

A “due” list shows what is overdue or coming up, and customers can be reminded by email before the date.

  • Eight kinds of installation to start from
  • The next inspection worked out from the last
  • Reminder emails to customers
  • Choose the installation on a job

An inspection note on every job

After an inspection, note the date, the outcome, who did it and their registration number, what was found and what was done. This is your own record. It is not an electrical installation condition report, which is issued separately where the law needs it, and the screen says so.

The price list starts with an electrical safety check, a socket or light fitting, a consumer unit upgrade and a call-out and fault finding. Record your NICEIC or NAPIT registration, Part P and 18th Edition certificates, with a reminder before they run out.

  • Outcome, findings and actions recorded
  • Starter services with checklists
  • Certificates with expiry reminders

Quote, invoice and get paid

Send a numbered quote as a PDF that the customer can accept online, then an invoice with VAT from your own email address. On Growth and above customers can pay by card, PayPal or Direct Debit from the invoice, and payment reminders chase the late ones.
