The CRM for window and door installers
Survey, quote, fit and repair: put each job on the calendar for the right fitters, photograph the opening before and the finished work after, and send the invoice.
From the survey to the fitting day
Enquiries go on a pipeline board. A fitter surveys and photographs each opening, and you build a quote with a line for each window or door, the extras and the fitting, which the customer accepts online. The fitting day goes on the calendar for as many fitters as it needs, and the job can run over several days.
The access notes hold where to park, which door to use and what needs moving first.
- Quotes customers accept online
- Before and after photos on every job
- Access notes for each home
- Fitting days shared between fitters
A price list, repairs and guarantee details
The starter price list has a survey, a sealed unit replacement, windows and doors supplied and fitted, hinge, handle and lock repairs, adjustments and new seals, each with a checklist, such as noting the guarantee details and photographing the finished work. Keep your fitters’ training, your scheme registration and your insurance certificates with reminders before they run out.
The starter risk assessment and the checklists are examples to read and edit. Sales Base keeps your records and reminders, it does not decide how you work or replace the rules that apply to your installations, such as building regulations and the conditions of your competent person scheme.
- Starter services with checklists
- Certificates with expiry reminders
- Insurance certificates in one place
- A risk assessment the fitters see on the visit
Quote, invoice and get paid
Send a numbered quote as a PDF that the customer can accept online, then an invoice with VAT from your own email address. On Growth and above customers can pay by card, PayPal or Direct Debit from the invoice, and payment reminders chase the late ones.
Calculators and converters for the job
The Tools section of the signed-in area has calculators made for this trade, as well as a unit converter, a way to price a job from your time, mark-up and margin, VAT and the fuel cost of a journey. They are worked out on the screen as you type, so nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
