The CRM for gardeners and lawn care

Regular mows, tidies and lawn treatments: set a garden round once and it keeps appearing on the calendar, with the gate code on the visit and an invoice when the month is done.

Garden rounds that fill the week

A garden round is a booking that makes the visits for you: weekly, fortnightly or monthly for the regulars, and every few months for lawn treatments. See the week on one calendar, share the visits between your gardeners, and each sees only the gardens they are going to.

Every garden has its own access notes, such as which gate to use, where the tap is and the dog that needs to be kept in.

  • Repeats weekly, fortnightly or monthly
  • Access notes for every garden
  • Visits shared between gardeners
  • Before and after photos on a visit

A lawn care price list and reminders

The starter price list has lawn mowing, a garden maintenance visit, a lawn feed and weed treatment, scarifying and overseeding, border weeding and mulching, hedge trimming, leaf clearance and an hourly gardener, each with a checklist, such as noting the product and the date on a lawn treatment. Keep the safety data sheets for your lawn products, and your spraying certificate and insurance certificates with reminders before they run out.

The starter risk assessment and the checklists are examples to read and edit. Sales Base keeps your records and reminders, it does not decide how you work or replace the rules that apply to your treatments and equipment, such as those for using pesticides and your insurer’s conditions.

  • Starter services with checklists
  • Safety data sheets for your products
  • Reminders by email or text
  • Certificates and insurance with expiry reminders

Quote, invoice and get paid

Send a numbered quote as a PDF that the customer can accept online, then an invoice with VAT from your own email address. On Growth and above customers can pay by card, PayPal or Direct Debit from the invoice, and payment reminders chase the late ones.

Calculators and converters for the job

The Tools section of the signed-in area has calculators made for this trade, as well as a unit converter, a way to price a job from your time, mark-up and margin, VAT and the fuel cost of a journey. They are worked out on the screen as you type, so nothing you enter is sent anywhere.

  • Soil, gravel, sand and mulch
  • Turf or grass seed
  • Paving slabs and bedding
  • Fence panels and posts
  • Decking boards and joists
  • Product for an area
