Pick your trade when you sign up
Cleaning, plumbing and heating, electrical, construction, property maintenance, mechanics, landscaping, hairdressing and barbering, or other. Each one changes what Sales Base calls things: customers or clients, call-outs or repairs or appointments, engineers or technicians or stylists, estimates or quotes.
Prefer a different word altogether? Type your own in Settings, in the singular and the plural, and it is used everywhere: the menus, the emails your clients receive, the reports and the AI assistants.

The checks and registrations your trade needs
Each trade is offered the certifications it usually needs when you add one to a member of staff: Gas Safe and OFTEC for heating engineers, NICEIC or NAPIT for electricians, CSCS for building, an MOT tester qualification for garages. Starter content to edit, not to trust blindly
