The CRM for removals and man and van

Quote the move, book the date and the crew, and have the parking, the stairs and the inventory on the job: a CRM for removals companies and man and van businesses.

From the quote to the moving day

Enquiries go on a pipeline board. You build a quote with the move, the packing and any extras, and the customer accepts it online. The moving day goes on the calendar for the movers it needs, and a move that loads one day and unloads the next can run over several days.

The access notes for each address hold the parking, the stairs or lift, the distance from the door and anything that will not fit through it.

  • Quotes customers accept online
  • Moving days shared between movers
  • Access notes for each address
  • Before and after photos on the job

A price list for moves and packing

The starter price list has man and van by the hour and half day, a single item delivery, studio, two and three bedroom moves, a packing service and furniture dismantling and reassembly, each with a checklist, such as noting existing damage with the customer before anything is moved. Keep your movers’ training, your goods in transit and public liability insurance certificates and driving licence checks with reminders before they run out.

The starter risk assessment and the checklists are examples to read and edit. Sales Base keeps your records and reminders, it does not decide how you work or replace the rules that apply to your vehicles and loads, such as driving hours, safe loading and your insurer’s conditions.

  • Starter services with checklists
  • Quotes with a deposit
  • Insurance certificates in one place
  • A risk assessment the movers see on the job

Quote, invoice and get paid

Send a numbered quote as a PDF that the customer can accept online, then an invoice with VAT from your own email address. On Growth and above customers can pay by card, PayPal or Direct Debit from the invoice, and payment reminders chase the late ones.

Calculators and converters for the job

The Tools section of the signed-in area has calculators made for this trade, as well as a unit converter, a way to price a job from your time, mark-up and margin, VAT and the fuel cost of a journey. They are worked out on the screen as you type, so nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
