What it does
Sales Base is a CRM for small businesses, started for cleaning companies and now also set up for window cleaning, exterior cleaning, carpet and upholstery cleaning, oven cleaning, kitchen and bathroom fitting, carpet and flooring laying, tree surgery, plastering and dry lining, ceramic tiling, pest control, fire safety and testing, locksmiths and security, waste and skip hire, roofing, handyman and decorating, mobile pet services, driving instructors and tutors, personal trainers, plumbing and heating, electrical, building, property maintenance, garages, landscaping, hairdressing, home help and other trades. You choose your trade when you sign up, and the product uses your trade's words. Each company gets its own address, such as acme.salesbase.co.uk, and its own private set of data that no other company can see.
With it you can:
- keep your clients and the properties you clean, with access notes
- set up bookings, one-off or repeating, which create the jobs on a weekly calendar
- send invoices as PDFs from your own email address, record part payments, and let clients pay by card or Direct Debit online
- chase overdue invoices automatically with payment reminders
- give clients a portal to see their invoices and send requests
- track leads on a pipeline board, send quotes, and plan site visits in a sales calendar
- see reports on what you invoiced, what you were paid and what is owed, and build your own
- keep the emails you exchange with clients and leads on their pages
- keep a price list of your services with checklists, and use it on jobs, quotes and invoices
- remind clients of their visits by email or text message, and set bookings to repeat from weekly to yearly
- keep the records your trade keeps: appliances, installations, vehicles, inspection notes and a client card
- record the certifications your staff hold, with reminders before they run out
- give your team a crew app on their phones: today's visits, clock in and out, checklists and before and after photos, which keeps working with no signal
- see timesheets, hourly pay with weekend and overtime rates, what each job earned against crew pay, the driving on day routes, and staff leave
- bring in clients and leads from another CRM with a CSV import
