Clients and properties
A client is a customer: a person or a company, with a contact name, email, phone and notes. A client can have several properties, which are the places you clean, each with an address and access notes such as key safe codes.
A client can also have a billing address, which is optional. It is printed under their name on invoices and quotes, so a VAT invoice carries the customer's address. Leave it empty if there is nothing to add. An invoice keeps the address it was issued with, and a quote the one it was sent with, so changing the client's address later never changes a document that has gone out. A draft uses the current address.
Clients are archived rather than deleted, so their job and invoice history stays intact.
To add one, open Clients and choose Add client. You need the ability to manage clients. Anyone who can see clients can read them, but only people who manage clients can change them.
